Nature of Our Service

The information on this Site is intended to help users understand general climate patterns and typical weather conditions for various locations around the world. It should be used for general planning purposes only, such as:

• Understanding what weather to typically expect in a destination during a given month
• Comparing average climate conditions between cities
• Packing guidance based on historical temperature and rainfall patterns

Data Limitations and Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate information, please understand the following limitations:

• Historical averages, not predictions: Our data shows what weather has been like on average over 30 years (1994-2024). Actual weather conditions during your visit may differ significantly from these averages.
• Individual years vary: Any given year may experience weather conditions substantially different from the historical average. Extreme weather events, unusual patterns, and climate variability mean that actual conditions can be hotter, colder, wetter, or drier than indicated.
• Climate change effects: Historical averages may not fully reflect recent climate trends. Weather patterns are changing, and conditions in recent years may differ from the 30-year average.
• Data resolution: Our data represents city-level averages and may not account for microclimates, elevation differences within cities, or conditions in surrounding areas.
• Third-party data: Our weather data is sourced from Open-Meteo, which uses ERA5 reanalysis data from the Copernicus Climate Change Service. While this is high-quality scientific data, it is subject to the limitations of reanalysis methodologies.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CITYWEATHER365, ITS OPERATORS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Travel disruptions, cancellations, or additional expenses
• Personal injury, property damage, or discomfort

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages arise from:

• Inaccurate or incomplete information on the Site
• Weather conditions that differ from historical averages
• Decisions made based on information from the Site

Travel Decisions and User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for all travel decisions you make, including but not limited to destination choice, travel dates, activities, and packing
• Our information is supplementary and should not be the sole basis for any travel decision
• You should check current weather forecasts from official meteorological services closer to your travel dates
• You should have appropriate travel insurance that covers weather-related disruptions
• You assume all risks associated with travel, including weather-related risks

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content (excluding weather data and third-party content) are owned by CityWeather365 and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our weather data is derived from:

• Open-Meteo: Weather data provided under the CC BY 4.0 license
• Copernicus Climate Change Service: ERA5 reanalysis data
• GeoNames: City and geographic data under CC BY 4.0 license

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Site in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without permission (except as permitted by applicable licenses)
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

Indemnification
